Mentors and Advisors

There are few things more valuable to a new venture than a good network of mentors and advisors.

A typical mentor or advisor supports a new venture by contributing a few hours a month reviewing material, advising on strategy, making introductions or helping address specific challenges facing the team. Both have several years of experience in a field or area of technology that is directly relevant to the new venture.

Mentors are typically more involved with the overall strategy and operations of the company – Advisors typically are subject area experts focused on a specific area (technical or operational).
